This policy explains how LinguaCard handles information when you use our language-learning application and website.
Information we process
- Account information, including your name, email address, account identifier, and authentication data.
- Learning content and activity, including vocabulary, collections, review progress, goals, stories, podcast activity, and content you choose to share.
- Images, audio, or text that you submit or create when using relevant learning features.
- Technical and diagnostic information needed to operate, secure, synchronize, and troubleshoot the service.
- Messages and contact details you provide when requesting support.
How we use information
We use this information to provide and synchronize your account, personalize learning features, generate requested content, process support requests, maintain security, diagnose problems, and improve service reliability. LinguaCard does not sell personal information or use it for cross-app advertising tracking.
Service providers
We use hosting, database, object-storage, email, and content-generation providers to operate features you request. These providers process information on our behalf under their applicable terms. Information may be processed in countries outside your own.
Retention and deletion
We retain account information and learning data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You can delete your account in the app, or request deletion using our account deletion page. Deletion removes the account and associated personal data from active systems, subject to limited retention required for security, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and routine backup expiry.
Your choices
You may access or update certain information in the app, control device permissions in system settings, and request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us. Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply.
Children
LinguaCard is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us so we can investigate and delete it.
